In 1946, Tanger’s Furniture was born. Charlie Tanger (Founder) decided he was going to start selling Maytag appliances in a barn at the family farm. Little did he know that 70 years later, the business would still be serving the community. The business was passed on to Tony and Carol Moon in 1980, who served the community for 36 years. In 2016, the legacy was passed on to the current owners, Brian & Mandy Osterfeld, who look forward to serving the community for many years to come.

At Tanger’s Furniture. Quality comes first. We carefully select each piece of furniture that comes into our store to ensure you’re getting the highest quality furniture, no matter what your budget is. Unlike big box stores, we don’t work exclusively with big manufactures. Much of our furniture comes from small, independent craftsman. Many of which are located right here in the midwest!
Our service doesn’t end once you take delivery. We have a full service repair shop and team to take care of your needs for the life of your furniture. Didn’t buy your furniture from us? No problem. We are happy to service any problems you have, even if you didn’t buy it from us.
